 Job description 

• Communicate the BOD's information to the Divisions, departments and receive feedback from the reporting department to the Board.
• Collect information, grasp the implementation situation of departments/divisions to report to the BODs;
• Monitor metrics, reports, operations; support the boss to get and analyze data when get required
• Deploy instructions and supervise the implementation to the Divisions
• Participating in ideas, building programs, and operating plans for the company;
• Work closely with other units and departments to complete the assigned work
• Review files and documents from departments before and would advise the boss.

I. JOB DESCRIPTION

∙ Consults parents about academic programs. 

∙ Be responsible for the assigned admission targets. 

∙ Incorporates with staff from other departments to make sure that students are in the best  care. 

∙ Receives potential customers via email, Facebook, text message, introduction, and take care  of customers as guided in the admission procedure. 

∙ Updates potential and current customers onto customer management system, makes sure  that the information is collected correctly and completely. 

∙ Records all students' documents during the enrollment process 

∙ Regularly reports about admission status. 

∙ Consults potential parents and students about academic programmers of each school in the  CIS System, recognizes each student’s needs to give focused consulting which help parents  choose suitable academic environment for the student. 

∙ Takes parents on school tour: introduces activities happening on-site, explains what  educational and humanitarian significance of the activities. 

∙ Assists parents in filling the application forms. 

∙ Arranges assessment tests. 

∙ Assists Canadian teachers in communicating with parents after getting the assessment  result. 

∙ Inform test results to parents and assists parents in contacting with relevant departments to  complete necessary steps for enrollment (accounting, school services, academic services,  etc.) 

∙ Transfer completed student’s record to Academic Services Office for managing and greeting  new student entry. 

∙ Receives feedbacks and contributions from parents and contacts the relevant departments  to address parent feedback. 

∙ Monitor, record paperwork relating the processing of comments from parents. ∙ Follow-up with interested parents to make sure that parents are well-informed with school  news and promotions. 

∙ Convinces prospective parents choose the CISS for reasons consistent with the needs of  parents.

I. JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Manage, monitor the operation of the school including, but not limited to, the work areas: School Daily Operation: 

∙ Management of supporting departments, including Human Resources, Administrative,  Maintenance, IT, Janitor, ASO and Admissions at the school within the framework of the  work required to ensure the effective school operation. 

∙ Monitor the quality of the outsourced services related to the school's operations, including  guard services, meals, student transportation, teacher and leadership transportation; tree  care, cleaning, maintenance, swimming pool maintenance,...

∙ Management of the status of facilities and assets of the school. Coordinate the  maintenance and operation of facilities at the school. 

∙ Supervise the implementation of the support team's processes and record keeping and  reporting as required. 

∙ Cooperate with the Human Resources Department to carry out the tasks related to annual  recruitment plan and employees management at the school.

∙ Track, control the attendance and implementation of company rules and school rules for all  teachers, employees of the company, school or corporation within the scope of the facility. 

Admission Management: 

∙ Coordinate and comply with the instructions of the Board of General Directors of the  Corporation to implement the annual admission plan of the school according to the BOD's  criteria. 

∙ Direct and manage the business activities of the school, including: Enrollment Advisory and  PR Marketing. 

∙ Coordination and provision of necessary support for business operations ∙ In conjunction with the Principal, make regulations for speaking and resolution of parental  complaints. 

Maintain School Budget: 

∙ Follow the direction of the Principal as well as the guidance of the Chief Accountant in the  management and administration of the school operating budget. 

∙ Strictly control the procurement, use of stationery and other operating expenses of the  school within the allocated budget. 

∙ Collaborate with the accounting department to monitor and supervise the expenditure management process to ensure that the budget is properly used within the allocated  budget. 

ASO Management: 

∙ Well organized archive student records. 

∙ Establish communication channels with parents effectively. 

∙ Support the work of teachers and student activities. 

∙ Follow up with the principal and resolve complaints from parents. 

Training: 

Guide and support staff fully aware of job responsibilities and skills to fulfill the tasks assigned.

Other Tasks: 

∙ Carry out other instructions from the Principal and the General Director of the Group upon  request. 

∙ Carry out periodic and unscheduled reports to the Principal and the General Director of the  Group.

The Canadian International School System – Vietnam (CISS-VN) operates four programs in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Canadian International School System – Vietnam (CISS-VN) consists of:

Job Descriptions 

Developing and creating capacity in the Learning Support program
• Lead and manage the Learning Support Department to oversee the school learning support program.
• Work with Shadow teachers, Tutor/teacher tutor, make recommendations to parents and administration regarding their effectiveness.
• Conduct Learning Support team meetings on a regular basis, to review student progress and issues and set up intervention as necessary to ensure that provides our best support.
• Meet with the Principals on a regular basis, to review student progress and issues/problems.
• Make recommendations for hiring Learning Support staff (Shadow teachers, Tutor/teacher tutor).

Providing In Service to staff

• On the referral process
• On their professional responsibilities, once a student has an intervention plan
• On common SEN issues and interventions found in the school.

Identify and Assess students with special needs
• Develop and lead 'referral process': preliminary interventions and trials of various strategies, recorded, before formal referral for IEP. Work to identify students with special educational needs and learning difficulties, at-risk students to ensure that their needs are met.
• Observe the students in their general setting (classroom, playground, specialist class if needed) and gather information/evidence from teachers, specialist, and parents if needed.
• Refer and oversee the assessment of the educational needs of students entering the IEP program, and utilize the written results of the assessment (psychoeducational and developmental assessment).
• Identify the potential issues before students join the school by being involved in the admission/enrollment of new students (conduct admission testing).

Plan and organize IEP Program and Progression progress (At Risk)
• Write IEP or Action Plan for each student with special needs and learning difficulties in setting up educational objectives and teaching strategies.
• Responsible for planning, communicating and negotiating of IEP/Action Plan between parents, teachers, principals, and outside agencies, and students if needed.
• Observe the IEP/At-Risk students in their general setting (classroom, playground, specialist class if needed)
• Observe the IEP/At-Risk students to monitor the student’s progress, in their general setting (classroom, playground, specialist class if needed
Support and Consultation
Support:
• Serves as an instructional resource for teachers by providing them with strategies, methods, and materials if needed for dealing with the IEP/At-Risk students.
• Support the teachers in accommodations and modifications of the curriculum to the student’s profile/pattern of learning.
• Support the parents in providing recommendations regarding outside support such as psychologists, therapists, counselors.
• Reporting: Meet with the Principals on a regular basis, to review student progress and issues/problems.

Consult:
• The classroom teachers: suggest accommodations and or, in limited circumstances, modifications to the curriculum, reports on the progress of students, discussing schedules, student behavior, monitoring of medicine – if needed, anecdotal records (for their progress reports “See Comments”).
• The Principals: provide information on progress, issues, etc. (Learning Support meeting with Principals on a regular basis, and LST folder confidential-limited access in the school server).
• Other professionals: consult with a psychologist to conduct Psycho-educational assessment, Developmental assessment, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational and Behavior Therapist., counselors, etc.
• ·Parents: conduct IEP meeting to ensure that parents are on board with the school, and consult with parents as needed.
• Students and/or parents: Counsel Students with behavior and social-emotional issues, as well as to parents if needed.
