Our Core Value

At BCIS, our Core values are our ‘RECIPE’ that creates talented people here. Along with the Vision and Mission, Core Values help define who we are, what we need to do, and how we do it. This is the guideline for us to go fast and steady like today.

BCIS Learning Culture

We believe that every learner is gifted with boundless potential and that our role as educators must be to awaken the various forms of intelligence and spark curiosity about everything in the real and abstract world.

Character Education in Action

There are universal attributes that schools and communities value. These attributes are key aspects of school life. They bind us together and form the basis of our relationships and contribute to responsible, ethical citizenship. They are a foundation for excellence, equity and inclusive education that are essential to achieve our vision of a BCIS school community that is respectful, safe, caring and inclusive.

At BCIS the Character Education in Action program focuses on 10 attributes, with the emphasis on one per month. Each attribute is explored through a variety of classroom curriculum activities that are age and grade appropriate and culturally sensitive.
