The students in grades 1, 2, and 3 have concluded their energetic school year with an overnight camping trip at the CVK campus. This activity also serves as the closing event of the Character Education in Action program of the 2023 academic year, emphasizing the final character trait of the program – gratitude in May.
BCISers have created many end-of-year memories with friends through games related to gratitude in May. The activity of assembling words into sentences helps them explore new messages about gratitude.
Excitement and enthusiasm are present throughout the camping session among the young BCISers. For many students, the camping trip provides them with their first experiences, such as being away from their parents for the first time, exploring the familiar school grounds, having dinner in the dining hall at night, and more. They also learn basic tent-building skills, participate in physical activities, roast marshmallows, and watch a play.
